Roger Hosey is a veteran law enforcement officer in North Carolina, with an extensive background in network engineering. He specializes in white collar crimes, but has worked cases ranging from homicides and bank robbery to sexual assaults and narcotics. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Western Carolina University and is a graduate of the American International Institute of Polygraph.

The purpose of this site is serve a repository of useful information and resources relating to law enforcement, technology, aviation, amateur radio, leadership, physical and cyber security, and other items of interest.

Motivated by the attacks on 9/11, Roger began his career in law enforcement on September 11, 2002, going to the police academy at night while working in the information technology field. After graduating the academy he served as a reserve (unpaid volunteer) police officer until 2007, when he joined the Landis Police Department full time. He served there for nearly thirteen years, earning progressive promotions to Detective, Detective Sergeant, Detective Captain, and Deputy Chief of Police. After uncovering evidence related to a major embezzlement scheme by high-ranking town officials, he was appointed and served as Interim Finance Officer and later appointed as the Town Manager, a position he held until the following election.

Roger Hosey continues to serve the community as law enforcement officer and as a task force agent with the State of North Carolina. Additionally, he recently earned several additional investigative certifications including the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Economic Crime Forensic Examiner (CECFE) , Certified Cryptocurrency Forensic Investigator (CCFI)
